Course Description

Humans have coexisted with bedbugs and mold, happily and unhappily. Examine how both affect library facilities and collections today. Equip library staff and facilities managers with the training and strategies necessary to protect their library collections, patrons, and staff from the disruptions posed by bedbugs and mold.

  • Understanding the health and safety concerns associated with bedbugs and mold exposure.
  • Learning about the treatment and mitigation of bedbugs and mold in libraries.
  • Developing staff training for proper identification, handling, and storage of affected materials.
