Earlier this week, Voting Representatives received an email with information from Board of Directors Chair Ms. Paula Settoon. This message contained links to documents about the FY2025/26 budget, the Call to Meeting with candidate information, election information, and an agenda for the Member Business Meeting to be held online, May 14, 2025.

In preparation for the upcoming elections, Amigos is testing email addresses to ensure that voting materials will be properly received by each member institution. A message has been sent to the email address on file for each member institution’s Voting Representative.

The Amigos Nominating Committee has announced the slate of candidates for election in May to the Board of Directors. Candidate and voting information will be sent to the designated Voting Representatives of member institutions as part of an upcoming Call to Meeting.

In a political climate where terms like diversity, equity, and inclusion face increasing challenges, many institutions have pivoted to new terms like belonging, community engagement, or student development.
