Amigos is announcing an expanded schedule of Fall 2026 Digital Repository Service Office Hours, a series designed for libraries and cultural heritage institutions interested in learning more about Hyku, a community-supported digital repository platform for organizations of all types and sizes.  

These one-hour sessions begin with a featured topic each month, followed by an open Q&A.  

Office Hours are open to all libraries, including both current users of the Amigos Digital Repository Service and those interested in learning more about Hyku. Advance registration is required.

  • Getting the Most Out of Hyku Overview
    • Date/Time: Tuesday, September 15, 2026, 1:00pm – 2:00pm CT 
    • Location: Zoom; registration required 
    • Description: This Office Hours session begins with a showcase of how libraries can leverage Hyku's features to support their specific use cases. 
  • Guided Bulk Import in Hyku 
    • Date/Time: Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 2:00pm – 3:00pm CT 
    • Location: Zoom; registration required 
    • Description: This Office Hours session will start with a look at the new Guided Bulk Import feature in Hyku version 7, designed to simplify batch importing of metadata and files. 
  • Digital Accessibility in Hyku 
    • Date/Time: Thursday, November 19, 2026, 11:00am – 12:00pm CT 
    • Location: Zoom; registration required 
    • Description: This Office Hours session will begin with an overview of the digital accessibility features available in Hyku, including capabilities that support compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Learn how these tools can help create more accessible and inclusive digital collections and experiences for end users.
