Amigos/MLNC Merger Update

We are pleased to report to current Amigos members that the members of the Missouri Library Network Corporation (MLNC) have strongly approved the motion to merge MLNC into Amigos. This positive action represents the first of two critical steps required to move forward with the merger, which can only occur if Amigos members also approve it.

Amigos Voting Representatives received voting materials late in March. As a reminder to those designated as Voting Representatives of Amigos member institutions, directed proxy ballots for the May 9 election are due at Amigos by 5:00 p.m. CDT tomorrow, April 27, by mail, fax, or online. The Amigos Board of Directors encourages all Amigos members to support the merger....

March Board Meeting Highlights

Updates on activities surrounding the proposed merger with the Missouri Library Network Corporation (MLNC), announced January 31, highlighted the agenda at the March 9 meeting of the Amigos Board of Directors. Amigos President and Chief Executive Officer Bonnie Juergens and Chief Financial Officer Charles Cason provided reports on various due diligence activities.

UTD Tracks Gifts, Donations with Voyager

Earlier this year the Eugene McDermott Library at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) began use of its Voyager Integrated Library System (ILS) and Excel inventory lists as a means of tracking gifts and materials donated to the Library.
