Duke University Press Launches New Platform

Duke University Press recently launched a new site for reading, searching, and sharing Duke University Press’s books online: read.dukeupress.edu. Offering more than 1,600 titles and hosted by HighWire Press, the site is the new home for the e-Duke Books Scholarly Collection.

New features include:

  • DRM-free e-books
  • Chapter-level downloads
  • Responsive design for reading and working on any device
  • Advanced search filters
  • Reading recommendations
  • Social sharing

The collection includes at least 100 new e-books each year plus term access to 1,500 backlist titles. Access via ebrary, the previous platform, will discontinue in February.
