The maker movement has been growing over the past several years and did not slow down for a global pandemic. Library users of all ages are still looking for opportunities to channel their inner artist through library craft and maker programs and Take & Make library kits. As a result, balancing library user enthusiasm for craft programs with library programming budgets has become even more of a challenge for many institutions.
TikTok is the latest social media platform that contuse to take the world by storm. Typically used by Generation Z, many businesses, and even libraries, are starting to harness the engagement power of TikTok as a marketing tool.
