Know & Go: Beginning Genealogy - Free Resources
Knowing about free genealogy resources, both digital and physical, is one way to get started researching your genealogy. We all have a history and lack of funds should not be a barrier.
Register for this Know and Go to familiarize yourself with free websites and databases as well as local resources so that you can research your own history, help a patron with their research, or conduct a class on genealogy.

- Locating hidden resources buried in databases
- Interpreting Census records
- Evaluating digital resources
- Recording your research
