Amigos members receive awards

The 2023 Missouri Library Association Annual Conference, "Celebrating a Culture of Care" took place October 4-6, 2023 and celebrated the ways libraries care for their communities. During its annual awards ceremony, several Amigos Library Services members were honored with awards, including:

• Becky Maue, St. Louis County Library, Outstanding Library Employee
• Rachael Grimes, Little Dixie Regional Libraries, Outstanding Professional Librarian
• Helen Li, Kansas City Public Library in Missouri, Outstanding New Librarian
• Linden Vanlandingham, Little Dixie Regional Libraries, Virginia C. Young Outstanding Service Award
• Library of the Year was presented to Little Dixie Regional Libraries

The Ronald G. Bohley Award, which is presented jointly each year by MLA and Amigos to an individual or individuals whose actions have led libraries to work better together and who exemplify the best efforts to reach out beyond his or her own institution to further multi-type library cooperation throughout the State of Missouri, was presented to Lauren Williams of Daniel Boone Regional Library.
