Amigos members and the library community are invited to attend the October 20, 2026, Collaborative Collections Lifecycle Project (CCLP) Fall 2026 Update Webinar. This free public webinar will update the community on the Collaborative Collections Lifecycle Project (CCLP) and provide information on the recently published NISO CCLIP Recommended Practice, an outline of the technical development behind the related CYCLOPS software, and information on how you can get involved.
The CCLP Fall 2026 Update Webinar will feature several speakers, including Todd Carpenter, Executive Director, NISO; Sebastian Hammer, President and Co-founder, Index Data; Boaz Nadav-Manes, University Librarian, Lehigh University; and Jill Morris, Executive Director, PALCI. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged.
The NISO CCLIP Recommended Practice, published in June, documents exchange protocols for gathering, normalizing, and exchanging holdings information, contractual information, retention obligations, usage data, and the publisher/marketplace information necessary to support collaborative decisions at the local and cross-institutional levels.
Through a negotiated agreement, Amigos members benefit from membership in the NISO Library Standards Alliance, which includes access to free educational webinars, discounted event registration, and opportunities to engage in standards development initiatives.
