As colleges and universities continue to explore the impact of artificial intelligence on teaching and learning, libraries are increasingly playing a key role in supporting AI literacy efforts across campus. To help address this need, Amigos vendor partner Infobase's Films On Demand AI Video Collection offers streaming video content designed to build foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills around AI.
Rather than focusing on specific AI tools that may quickly change, the collection is organized around five broad themes:
- Foundations
- Career Applications
- Ethical Implications
- Societal Impact
- Teaching Practices
The Films On Demand AI Video Collection is designed to support instruction across more than 25 high-enrollment introductory college courses, making it easier for faculty to incorporate AI-related content into existing curricula.
Content includes original interviews with faculty from Boston College, as well as materials from organizations such as TED and MIT Sloan Management Review. Topics explore a range of current issues surrounding artificial intelligence, including the future of work, ethical considerations, and the relationship between AI and human decision-making.Through this collection, Infobase aims to help students develop lasting AI literacy skills that remain relevant as technologies and platforms continue to evolve.
