Using Plano Public Library’s Career Quest program as a framework, discover how gamified budgeting challenges, role-playing activities, and increasingly popular tabletop role-playing games can bring real-world decision-making to life and can provide teens and young adults with adaptable strategies to help prepare for their futures. Learn how to structure sessions for maximum engagement and partner with community professionals to expand career pathways.

Anna Kopinska is a Public Services Librarian at Plano Public Library. She develops and delivers programs for patrons of all ages. She enjoys educating patrons and making sure that fun is part of their learning journey.

 

 

Kristin Linscott develops community and corporate partnerships for Plano Public Library as part of the Programming & Engagement team. Kristin draws on experience in nonprofit management and community outreach to build connections that benefit both the library and the community. She enjoys promoting library services and programs, particularly in the areas of financial capability, workforce development, and supporting small businesses.

 

 

Aisha Mohammed is a Public Services Librarian at Plano Public Library in Texas. She helps create and schedule business and career programming. She also serves as one of the advisors for the Teen Street Team, the Plano Public Library teen advisory board.
