Amigos Members Selected for Digital POWRR Cohort
Submitted by Amigos on Thu, 2022-02-10 14:02Amigos Library Services joined as one of the partners in the Preserving Digital Objects With Restricted Resources (Digital POWRR) project, as it entered Phase 4 of its work. Thanks to generous grant funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services' Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program, the "Digital POWRR Peer Assessment Program: Empowering Collective Evaluation and Action" grant is helping advance digital preservation practices among under-resourced organizations.
Amigos Library Services Invites Nominations for Board of Directors
Submitted by Amigos on Thu, 2022-01-27 14:16The Amigos Nominating Committee is accepting nominations from individuals interested in serving on the Amigos Board of Directors. The 2022 election ballot, sent to members in April, will include candidates for four positions on the board – three board of directors positions for librarians at member institutions and one board of directors position for an independent representative.
