Two popular OUP products are moving to the Oxford Academic platform over the next two months: What Everyone Needs to Know® and Oxford Bibliographies. Whether you have received earlier communications or this is your first notice, information in this email defines what's moving and when, required actions, and how this change will improve your experience.
2 months to go: What Everyone Needs to Know®
What Everyone Needs to Know® will move to Oxford Academic on 18 June 2026
It will then be available on both platforms until 2 July 2026 when redirects will be put into place. A list of required actions is provided on the OUP customer hub to ensure libraries and their users have a smooth transition.
1 month to go: Oxford Bibliographies
The move for Oxford Bibliographies is happening on May 7, 2026, so please ensure all required actions are completed and review the frequently asked questions prior to this product’s move to Oxford Academic next month. Redirects will be put in place on 21 May following a 2-week period of dual running. Free training webinars will be available to demonstrate how to navigate this resource on the new platform.
OUP is supporting libraries throughout these changes with regular email communications and an online information hub. By the end of 2027 users will be able to discover the majority of Oxford University Press's academic research content in one place for the first time on Oxford Academic.
