Amigos is pleased to welcome Bibliotele as a new vendor partner to its Member Discount Services. Bibliotele is the first streaming and live programming platform created specifically for libraries to serve their Spanish-speaking communities.
At the core of the service are the exclusive Bibliotele Original live programs, developed in partnership with Latino institutions and organizations nationwide. Covering critical, life-changing topics such as health, education, entrepreneurship, immigration–civil rights, and culture, these sessions provide timely, relevant, and impactful programming that helps libraries connect with their Latino patrons in meaningful ways.
Complementing these live experiences, Bibliotele offers a curated catalog of Spanish-language films, series, documentaries, and TV shows that patrons can enjoy from any device — including Roku, Amazon Fire, Google TV, website browser, mobile, and the desktop webapp.
Bibliotele is a Hispanic-owned and operated, proudly employee-owned company, dedicated to empowering Latino communities of every size with quality Spanish-language content and programs. Through Amigos, both academic and public member libraries have access to special pricing designed with today’s budget challenges in mind, ensuring that every library — large or small — can bring meaningful Spanish-language resources to its patrons.
