Our Free to Members page now includes two new features to specifically help libraries on their digital accessibility journey!
Improving Accessibility Through Document Remediation
Registration to access the recording of this two‑hour course is now open and available on the Free Recordings of Live Online Sessions section of the Free to Members page. Document remediation makes online materials accessible for people with disabilities, ensuring that they can be read by assistive technologies such as screen readers. This course reviewed document remediation basics, strategies for tagging elements to indicate reading order and other information, and best practices for remediating your library's existing and future documents. Registration for the recording is available until March 31, 2027.
Digital Accessibility in Libraries Online Conference (Recordings)
Did you miss our February 2026 online conference on Digital Accessibility in Libraries? Amigos members can still register for the recordings and access all the sessions. The conference offered actionable strategies and collaborative solutions, drawing on shared experiences to help libraries embed accessibility into their digital strategies and create a more inclusive future. Register now to learn how to ensure equitable access to information and identify next steps to meet new federal accessibility requirements. Registration for these online conference recordings is available until February 18, 2027.
