Ready to strengthen your library’s acquisitions process? Join award-winning librarian and educator Elizabeth J. Szkirpan on December 4 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Central for Introduction to Library Acquisitions, an engaging session that demystifies one of the most vital areas of library operations.

This October, our Know & Go series brings you four fast-paced learning sessions designed for busy library staff. Each session is just one hour, packed with practical takeaways that can be used right away. Whether a frontline staff member, supervisor, or library director, these sessions offer something for everyone in the field.  

Build your metadata expertise through this comprehensive 4-course micro-credentialing series. Each course is designed to deepen your understanding of metadata functions, standards, and relationships.

As a result of high demand, an afternoon session (1:00-4:00 pm) has been added to the schedule for the in-person book repair training offered on October 22, 2025, in Independence, Missouri. 

Amigos Library Services invites proposals from staff at member libraries and the wider library community for individual or panel sessions at its upcoming online conference, Practical Paths to the AI-Enhanced Library, on December 10, 2025.&nb

The next Amigos Community Conversation, Recognizing and Cultivating In-House Talent, takes place on Wednesday, October 2nd at 1:00 pm Central. This session will highlight how libraries can identify and grow the talent already within their organizations.
