Find Out about Amigos Fellowship Funding at an October 22 Live Event

The Amigos Fellowship and Opportunity Award Program supports library innovation, development, and research. Through a competitive selection process, up to $10,000 is available annually to Amigos member libraries and their staffs.

Join Amigos staff online on October 22, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. CDT to learn about the award program, how you or your library can apply for funding, and what projects may qualify. Also, get tips on writing a successful proposal and ask questions about the process. This one-hour session is open exclusively to Amigos Members. Registration is free of charge and open until 10:00 a.m. October 22.

The Fellowship and Opportunity Award Program evolved out of the Amigos Fellowship Program founded in 1990. Over its 20-year history, the Fellowship Program has awarded over $100,000 to foster professional development. In 2011, the program expanded its purposes to include funding that would encourage Amigos member libraries to innovate, cooperate, lead, and educate within their libraries, their communities, and the library profession.

For more information, review the application process or contact Pam Carter, 800-843-8482, ext. 2883, or opportunity@amigos.org.
