Learning Objectives
- Write collection development policies concerning e-readers/e-content
- Identify e-collections for public libraries
- Identify e-collections for academic libraries
- Discuss assessment /weeding of your e-collection
Target Audience
Any staff in libraries responsible for implementing or supporting e-reader services
Prerequisites
Familiarity with downloading an e-book to a device
Homework Expectations and Completion Requirements
This is an interactive course and participants will be required to attend all sessions and complete homework assignments in order to earn Continuing Education credit.
It is designed for individual participation; each individual must register.
