Vendor Description

BiblioBoard Library is the digital content delivery solution for libraries. We have an unlimited, multi-user digital, mobile library platform that is available to library patrons in the US and worldwide. We have an award-winning platform that is available as a web product and have free mobile apps for iPad, iPhone, Kindle Hire HD, Android phones, Samsung Galaxy, and devices that support Google Play. BiblioBoard’s diverse selection of multimedia content continues to grow everyday and features works from traditional publishers, historical archives, cultural institutions, independent authors, local organizations and more.

Along with the unlimited, multi-user content, we also offer our SELF-e program that partners with Library Journal to give local authors a way to make their self-published books available in their library - http://self-e.libraryjournal.com/. You can check out a quick video to learn more here - https://vimeo.com/142144990 .

We also offer the Pressbooks service to expand your self-publishing offerings to local writers. Pressbooks allows for authors to write their books directly on the platform, or convert their works over from Word files. The author can then choose between multiple, attractive, templates to create their formatted interior and cover designs. The formatted files will be made available to the author as formatted PDF files to which they can upload to a publishing site such as CreateSpace or Lulu to publish their print book for free! They will also receive fully formatted eBook files to publish their work to Amazon, Kindle, Apple iBooks, and any other site to which they choose. All for no cost to the patron whatsoever! Here is a link to more info on the Pressbooks writing composition component - http://pressbooks.com/ .

Creator is the final community engagement tool we offer which is included in our platform that allows libraries to curate your own local, digital collections of town history and images, or partner with local musicians, artists, filmmakers, museums, schools, etc. to work together on creating digital exhibits for the community, Here is a link to more information - http://www.biblioboard.com/communityEngagement.html. Also, here is a link to a creative example of what one library used this tool for - https://vimeo.com/133568663 .
