Alexander Street Press recently debuted its Food Studies Online. This collection focuses on food’s place in the study of culture, business, politics, and globalization.
The Amigos eShelf℠ Service has been available to libraries since the beginning of November. Since then, we have been getting the word out by attending conferences and posting to social media. Just this fall, we exhibited and presented at the Missouri/Kansas, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Arizona Library Association conferences, and also attended the Charleston and LITA conferences.Our bodies and "selves" have come to be physically and mentally meshed with external artifacts and objects, and this fact sets the stage for a variety of philosophical and moral questions related to the role of culture in our technological world.
