Amigos Launches TAE/TExpress Connection to Kansas Library Express
We are pleased and excited to announce the expansion of the Trans-Amigos Express (TAE)/TExpress courier service through a new connection with the Kansas Library Express (KLE). This connection, which became effective February 10, allows items to be sent and received between TAE/TExpress and KLE participants at no additional charge.
The KLE connection follows an earlier agreement with the Mid-America Library Alliance (MALA) of Kansas City, also at no additional charge to TAE/TExpress participants. The KLE, MALA, TAE/TExpress connection extends resource sharing among more than 800 academic, public, and special libraries across six states, saving participants thousands of dollars annually on shipping and packaging costs in addition to the convenience and time savings afforded library staff.
