CFP Open for Amigos Member Conference 2022: Building the New Library Team

Motivating and retaining staff. Recruiting new staff. Navigating new ways of working. And developing the skills for new services. Changes in the workplace and workforce have made building the new library team more important than ever. This is the time for managers, staff, and job seekers to think together about what will be needed for the future. Join the 2022 Amigos Member Conference to explore the new library staffing landscape.

Topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Motivating staff
  • New ways of working
  • Recruitment strategies
  • Retention programs
  • Retooling positions
  • Staff development/training

If you can speak on one of these topics, or have another topic in mind, please submit your proposal by March 21. Don't worry if you've never presented online. It's easy, and we are happy to train you and will provide technical support during your presentation.
