Credo Reference Announces Launch of Beta Topic Pages

Credo Topic Pages are a new approach to organizing and presenting information resources. They provide context and vocabulary around a subject and act as a starting point for research - all on one page. Every Topic Page assembles content from resources within and outside of the library. Librarians choose which resources will be displayed on their institution's own customized version of Credo Topic Pages.

Topic Pages will be visible on the free web. While most library resources are only found on the "hidden" web, Topic Pages will show up in search results from Google and other search engines. This means you library resources will be presented to students and patrons even when their research starts outside the library.

Topic pages are available now on the Beta platform. Credo Reference subscribers have access to them right now.

For more information attend one of the Topic Page webinars or contact Carol Wattenbarger at wattenbarger@amigos.org or 800-843-8482 ext. 2802.
