Have you registered for the Kansas Library Association-College & University Libraries (KLA-CULS) Spring Conference?

The KLA-CULS conference, Building the Future on Strong Foundations, will be held on April 27-28, 2017. Herbert G. Callison, Executive Director of Mainstream, Inc., will present the preconference session Grant Writing: A Small Group Workshop. Danielle Dion, director of the De Paul Library at the University of Saint Mary, will start off this two-day conference as keynote.

A bonus at the conference is the special exhibition, Education: The Mightiest Weapon. It highlights the activities of African American School Life before the landmark 1954 Brown v. Board U.S. Supreme Court decision and features written and photographic materials from Kenneth Spencer Research Library’s African American Experience Collections.

The conference will be at the Oread Hotel in Lawrence, KS. For more details, including the full schedule and hotel information, please see the conference website.
