Want to learn more about metadata?

The second course in a brand new series, Metadata Principles and Practices: Metadata Standards and Types, will be January 12, 2017 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CDT. This two-hour online workshop should be taken after, "Metadata Basics." It is designed to help catalogers, archivists, digital project managers, or anyone needing an overview of metadata, discover how metadata standards are created. Participants will learn how to understand the roles of schemas and DTDs in defining tags and learn how to list types of metadata and their roles in describing resources.
