Public libraries are in a key position to expand their patron base by attracting the small business owner and entrepreneur to the library. The resources this audience needs often can be found at the library, but they may not be aware of it. This session will get you started with how to plan and develop a strategy to effectively target this new audience for your library.

  • Identify local support/advisory organizations that can help you convey your message to this target audience
  • Prioritize the library's short-term and long-term goals to coincide with developing this group as library users
  • Propose tactics and strategies to reach this audience
