Free E-books - Where They Are and How to Download Them

Course Description
Topic Area:
Course Type:

If you are just starting to use an e-reader or an e-reader app, downloading e-books from some of the free sites is the quickest (and cheapest) way to learn to download to your device. In addition, the free e-book sites can provide you with the new and the old – new fiction and non-fiction e-books written by authors that are not as well-known (yet), and the classics and titles that are copyright-free.

In this hands-on course, we will introduce you to free e-book sites and help you download e-books to your reader or app.

Based on customer feedback, we have created this series of e-book/e-reader courses. We designed it so you can learn to use specific devices and then delve into other organizational issues like collection development, marketing, and policy development. We have a suggested order (note the Related Courses section below), but you may take any course at any time.
