Amigos Community Conversations: Libraries and Sustainability

Registration is closed for this event
Addressing energy, the environment, and sustainability has become a localized issue, with more communities and institutions taking direct action by re-envisioning their operations. Many libraries are joining these efforts, exploring options to make services and facilities more sustainable, responsible, and efficient.   In this conversation, Jensen Adams, Energy and Sustainability Officer at Kansas City Public Library, and Dr. Lea Briggs, Department Administrator at the University of New Mexico Libraries, will discuss their libraries' sustainability initiatives and how other institutions can begin to take ownership of their carbon footprint. This is an exclusive, no-charge event for Amigos Library Services members.
