Supporting Regional Accreditation: An Amigos Community Conversation

Join this conversation and hear from Dr. Cindy Dudenhoffer, accreditation consultant, and Tracey Mendoza, University of Incarnate Word, on ways libraries can successfully support their institutions in the regional accreditation process.

Dr. Cynthia Dudenhoffer is an Associate Teaching Professor and the Program Coordinator for the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies at the University of Missouri-Columbia.  Previously, she held the role of Director of Information Resources and Assessment at Central Methodist University.  She has served in many leadership roles locally and nationally, including president of the Missouri Library Association.  She also serves as a professional consultant in areas of academic library accreditation, program review, project management, and leadership through innovation.

Tracey Mendoza currently serves as the Dean of Libraries at University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, and on the board for Amigos Library Services. She has been an academic librarian and library administrator for 29 years. Tracey has been very involved with institutional effectiveness and accreditation efforts at Texas and Georgia institutions serving on accreditation steering committees, serving as an editor and writer for reaffirmation and initial accreditation, and as co-chair of strategic planning committees and Quality Enhancement Plan efforts. She is currently listed as a peer evaluator by SACS-COC for libraries and learning resources.
