Tips for Hosting a Game Night in Your Library

Who doesn't love a good game night? Although we may not always think of them this way, games are a form of story telling, just in a different format! Libraries and librarians have the opportunity to provide patrons with stories and information through games - in a variety of ways. This course will cover how to plan and host a game night in your library, choosing the theme or unique game for your library, how game nights align with your library's mission, and how to best market your event.

  • Develop a plan for library game nights
  • Discuss a marketing plan for your event
