Amigos Community Conversations: Communicating through the Controversy

Registration is closed for this event
When difficult times hit libraries, managers can find it difficult to respond for fear they may not be able to manage the conflict or controversy that may occur. Join this conversation and hear from Dean Hendrix, Vice Provost & University Librarian of the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Roosevelt Weeks, Director of the Austin Public Library, on communicating through controversy. Then gather with colleagues to share ways managers can effectively and empathetically communicate to their staff and community during difficult times at the library.

This event is free and open to Amigos Library Services members.
