Know & Go: Wakelet and Padlet for Libraries
Learning how to use Wakelet and Padlet for your library can boost patron engagement. With Wakelet, libraries can save, organize and share content from across the web and organize them into collections. Padlet is a collaborative web platform in which users can upload, organize, and share content to virtual bulletin boards called "padlets”. These useful applications can be incorporated into library programs for all audiences and customized for target user groups.
Learning objectives for this session include:
- Introducing Wakelet and Padelt and basic features of both
- Evaluating quick ways to use Wakelet and Padelt for library user engagement and reference support
- Incorporating Wakelet and Flipgrid virtual displays and ready resources into library programs and services
