Kathy and Brendan Reichs Join North Texas Teen Book Festival Lineup

Teen literature sensations Kathy and Brendan Reichs join an impressive lineup of over 50 young adult (YA) and middle-grade literature authors appearing at the North Texas Teen Book Festival, March 7 at the Irving Convention Center. Noted authors include David Levithan (Will Grayson, Will Grayson and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist), Patrick Carman, (Pulse and the Land of Elyon series), Ally Condie (Atlantia and the Matched Trilogy), Stephanie Perkins (Anna and the French Kiss and Isla and the Happily Ever After) and John Corey Whaley (Noggin and Where Things Come Back).

Reminder: RDA Toolkit First-User Subscriptions are Free to Amigos Members

Just a reminder, all Amigos members are eligible to receive an RDA Toolkit subscription with one simultaneous user at no cost. This member benefit, announced last year, is an effort to help Amigos members adopt the new Resource Description and Access (RDA) cataloging standard.

As promised, here is an update on the status of the strategic planning activities that I reported on previously. As I noted last fall, your Board is engaged in the yearlong development of a new strategic plan to guide Amigos over the next 3-5 years. We’re calling it Plan 2020.
