Last Chance to Submit Proposal to Present - Driving Library Change with User Experience Design

Don’t miss the opportunity to speak at the next Amigos Online Conference, Driving Library Change with User Experience Design. The December 8 conference will explore how libraries are utilizing User Experience (UX) design concepts to improve how you serve library patrons and much more.

Courtney Greene McDonald will kick off the morning with a keynote titled, "Putting Users First in Practice: Creating Real Change in Your Library." McDonald is head of the Discovery & User Experience department at Indiana University Bloomington Libraries.

Amigos is accepting presentation proposals for this NOW through tomorrow, September 30. Suggested topic areas include:

  • Implementation of UX design to improve the quality of users’ interactions in all areas of library services
  • Applying UX design principles to physical spaces
  • Gathering and analyzing user data in making library decisions
  • Experiences with managing change through UX design projects
  • Assessing and measuring user experience in libraries

If you can speak on one of these topics or have another idea in mind, please submit your proposal. Don't worry if you've never presented online; it’s easy, and we are happy to train you and provide technical support during your presentation.
