Check out Tamar Kirschner's mid-day session, "E-Book Clinic: Supporting the Patron E-Reading Experience in an Urban Public Library". He will talk about the Oakland (CA) Public Library’s launch of its pilot one-on-one e-book assistance service at the Main Library. Kirschner will discuss the evaluation of the service as well as logistics, challenges, outreach, and strategy to expand to all 16 branches.

One of the day ending sessions is Jim Martin and Niamh Wallace's, "The Library's Role in Providing Ebook Access to Required Course Materials." They will detail the processes through which the University of Arizona Libraries partnered with the campus bookstore to review, acquire, and promote these e-resources, automatically link the materials to the course management systems for each impacted course, and calculate the overall potential financial benefit this project has had for students
Two concurrent sessions will run throughout the day.
