No Charge to Amigos Members for Online Member Conference

Amigos is pleased to announce that the 2010 online Amigos Member Conference, May 5-6, is open to all Amigos members free of charge. Registration for the online conference begins March 1.

“Assess. Act. Advance.” is the theme for the online conference that focuses on assessment and embedding the practice of improvement into library culture and services. In choosing the theme, Amigos seeks to emphasize how today’s libraries are compelled to measure services and processes to maintain vitality, prove value, retain customers, and obtain funds.

Amigos encourages libraries to register and participate as a group. Registering an institution as a single log-in will help ensure sufficient bandwidth is available for all participants and allow Amigos to deliver the conference to the widest audience in the most cost-efficient manner.
