Amigos to Present Program on Preserving Childhood Games at SSA Meeting

Join our Preservation & Collections Care Specialist Carmen Cowick at the Society of Southwest Archivists' annual meeting in Arlington, TX. On Friday, May 22, at 10:00 a.m., Carmen's presentation will examine ways in which we can preserve childhood games played on the playground or neighborhood streets. Attempting to capture the full experience of the games of our youth, Carmen will show how they can be preserved through sound recordings, oral histories, photographs, moving images, and even through virtual simulation.
