Amigos will offer two informative Know & Go sessions in the coming weeks: "Tips and Tricks for WorldShare ILL," and "Provider-Neutral Guidelines for eBooks."

"Tips and Tricks for WorldShare ILL" is scheduled for July 21 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. CDT. Join Continuing Education Librarian Tim Prather for this hour-long update session to learn more about the new functionality in WorldShare ILL as well as some useful tips. Topics covered include customizing bookstraps and managing accounts as well as initiating and tracking the purchase of an item to fill an ILL request. Register on the Amigos website.

"Provider-Neutral Guidelines for eBooks" is scheduled for August 4 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. CDT. Join Imaging Field Services Officer Bill Walker for this informative hour addressing the Provider-Neutral Guidelines for cataloging eBooks. These guidelines were designed to prevent duplication of records representing eBooks sold by multiple vendors such as Amazon (Kindle) and Barnes & Noble (Nook). Topics covered include defining the Provider-Neutral Guidelines and their purpose in shared bibliographic databases such as OCLC and major RDA elements as they apply to these guidelines.
