Frequently Asked Questions About Amigos Regional Training Sessions

| What is Early Bird registration? |
The Early Bird registration deadline is 5:00 p.m. 22 days prior to a
scheduled regional session, and entitles the registrant to receive a $25
discount off the regular registration fee.

| How can I register? |
|
Please register in writing, via mail, fax, e-mail, or the
Amigos Web form.
Information on each is listed below. Please complete a separate form for each
person and each session. You will find information regarding fees for each
session with its description.
When registering by e-mail, please include all information requested on the
registration form.

We will continue to accept registrations until the day before a session or
until it is full. We request that you call us if you register after the Early
Bird deadline so we can notify you of any changes in the schedule. We ship
workshop packets and supplies to the host site 7-10 days in advance of the
session. Should you register after these have been sent, we will mail them to
you. Your contact hours certificate will be mailed to you after the session.

| Can I register by phone? |
Amigos will accept initial registrations by phone. They must be followed
immediately, however, by written registrations. If we have not received a
written registration by the Early Bird deadline, we will release your space.
Only registrations received in writing will be confirmed, and you are not
officially registered without written confirmation from us.

| I am a member of BCR, FEDLINK, or SOLINET. How can I
register? |
|
Amigos participates in reciprocal agreements with BCR and SOLINET.

FEDLINK members are welcome to participate in Amigos training and learning services.
Please register as a non-member and pay by credit card.

| How will I know if I am officially registered? |
Amigos confirms in writing all registrations received by mail, fax, e-mail, or
the Amigos Web site. Confirmations are mailed two weeks prior to each session.
Registrations received after the Early Bird deadline will be confirmed by fax
or e-mail. If you have not received a confirmation within one week of the workshop
date, please call or e-mail us.

| How will I be notified of a session's location? |
Your confirmation will include a map and directions to the session site.

| What about cancellations? |
Workshops may be canceled due to too few registrants or inclement weather. If
a workshop is canceled, you will be notified and your fees refunded. Due to
the last-minute nature of some cancellations, we ask that you provide us a home
phone number. We will of course be happy to work with you to reschedule a session.

| Can I cancel my registration and receive a refund? |
Refunds will be issued for cancellations received at least 24 hours before a
session. You may cancel your registration by sending an e-mail to
brown@amigos.org or calling Amigos,
1-800-843-8482 or 972-851-8000 in the Dallas area. If you call outside regular
business hours, please leave a message on the voice mail system.

| What is the maximum number of staff I can send from my
library? |
In most cases, we do not limit registrants from one library. In situations
where space is limited, we will notify you by the Early Bird registration
deadline if limits are necessary.

| Can I get on a waiting list if a session is full? |
Yes. We accept registrations on an as-received basis. When a session is full,
we will automatically add your name to our waiting list and notify you. We
will notify you immediately if space becomes available.

| When should I make travel plans? |
Make travel plans only after you receive your written confirmation. If you must
make them before confirmation is received, please contact Chris Brown at Amigos,

have been made to the schedule.
