Know & Go: Getting the Most Value from Member Discount Services

Member Discount Services is the discount program Amigos Library Services offers its members to provide value and savings on electronic databases, and other library products. Discount structures have been negotiated with the publisher/vendor of the library products offered to benefit the membership. Learn how these partnerships benefit you as the member of Amigos and how you may gain greater value for your library through your Amigos membership. We will discuss the process of ensuring your library receives the Amigos discount for the products your are licensing. Question and answer session will be available.

  • Understanding the process of licensing and renewing products of publishers/vendors through whom Amigos has a partnership
  • Distinction between Member Discount Service and Discount Direct
  • Discussion of examples of licensing products offered
